The Primacy of Consciousness is a concert-length multi-media work being created by composer Evan Premo and librettist Rinde Eckert inspired by various ancient and modern texts including Infinite Awareness: The Awakening of a Scientific Mind by neuroscientist Marjorie Hines Woollacott. Scored for soloists, instrumentalists, and choir, this work will precipitate the merging of science, spirituality, and artistic expression. Artwork by Jan Sandman will be photographed and projected by Andreas John through the performance.
