The Spektral Quartet is equally committed to training the next generation of chamber musicians, and as pedagogues, are in demand in the academic arena, having been invited by Northwestern University, Illinois State University and The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to perform, present workshops and lead masterclasses.

We are joined by the duo "Clockwise." Jacqueline Kerrod (harp) and her husband Marc Uys (violin) are both originally from South African and they now live in New York City. You will remember Jacqueline's fantastic harp playing in last season's finale: "The Madrigal Project." This international program will include works from Poland, South Africa, England, France, Germany, and world premiere from New York City. Featured works will include Benjamin Britten's song cycle for soprano and harp, "Birthday Hansel" with Scottish poetry by the great Robert Burns and Gustav Holst's haunting, folk-like and sacred "Four Songs for Violin and Soprano." We are honored with the world premiere of "The Mosaic Was My Soul" (violin and harp) by Cornelius Dufallo and "Violons dans le soir" (violin, soprano, and harp) by C.Saint-Saën C. Saint-S offers a transcendent perspective of a summer evening.
